Excellent food, prompt service, fantastic price! It's all you can eat, but don't order too much because they charge extra for anything you order but don't finish (which is fine in my book to discourage wasting food).

First time my husband and I visit this place. Food is good and sushi are good but one thing I noticed their service is not so friendly! They make u feel rushed! And my order from kitchen never came, I had to tell the server to check for my husband order coz he don't eat sushi! Seems like they don't wanna give more after u gave your few pieces of order at first time. $27 is not cheap! I saw couple before us just got their food and seems like they've enjoying their date and server right away put their check in their table! for me that was disrespectful! Aside from that we like the food.

I love this place and so does my family!Its a hidden gem in west haven!!!Penny and Andy are awesome people!!!I do the benefit coordination for the local police K9 units during a very important drive: CPWDA...these guys have always been willing to help and I commend their hospitality!!!

All I can say is AMAZING and I’m craving it daily!!!!! Such kind and attentive staff and the sushi is so fresh and clearly made with skill. None of that premade sushi that sushi palace does. This place is a go to even for non-sushi eaters there’s tons of tapas.

I like this restaurant! They have tasty meals, they have a nice menu, The chef in that place is a professional, I like very much tasting all their dishes. The dishes are always of high qualtity, the attitude towards the customers is helpful. I often go to this place and I not even once was disappointed. I recommend it to all.

The food is great. You will be happy with your meal. However the service is so so. I have had good service and bad service. You never really know what service you will get till you get there lol. They have a great selection of sushi and sashimi. For those who don't like Fish they habe a lot of other options as well.

This place is my preferable site. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. Whenever I want to go to a good lunch, this place comes straight to my head. fresh and many types of food and a large list of dishes.professional crew, and nice mood. And very important, the cost is fair. I sent my friends to this spot with no hesitation.

Best sushi place I’ve ever been to... love how it’s all you can eat, and service is always so fast, except the waitress always comes off as rude but I think it may just be a cultural thing? She should be more friendly though either way. Just watch out for the soups, some taste super gross and fishy. Except for the korean seafood soup

Good sushi, took a star because they had their kid acting as front desk and host. I prefer to deal with adults when it comes to business transactions and it just made me uncomfortable. The poor kid also had to figure out how to tell us that because we had no reservation it was either wait or bar. Fortunately we speak the same language and I understood what his relative said. Make sure if you go to have a big appetite, because it's great value if you are consuming a good amount of sushi.

Seriously amazing sushi with 2 menus: a kitchen menu with fried scallops, BBQ ribs, and much more; then a sushi menu with all the different types of sushi you could ever imagine. Truly worth the dine in whether it be in the day for a nice lunch or late afternoon for a nice dinne

Was there again last night. Fantastic Sushi...Ordering—-sometimes they just give you what they want you to have and sometimes the waitress could be nicer.

First a foremost: the food was fantastic, I cannot say enough good things about the sushi chefs. Sushi X is a shadow of their former selves. This sushi X was a must when I lived in West Haven. Friendly staff, quick and customer oriented. I now return to West Haven almost 4 years later and the staff is Hawking my wife and my two children because my wife and I ordered all you can eat and my kids got plates. Very upfront with all costs almost annoyingly. Removing plates with food still on them. Charging for things that weren't ordered. The frustration comes from being hounded on every individual cost of every individual item then at the end have my bill wrong. The entire environment of the place has changed, the waitresses stare at you while you eat - it's just a lot of tension for something I used to enjoy.

Food was very good but staff make me felled scared they don’t care and good service that much even you give a good tips to them if you don’t care about service it’s good place to get all you can eat food
